Go for the Jugular
Or as Cheryl Strayed once said:
"Don't be afraid to break your own heart. No one can tell your story exactly the way you tell it!"
Isn't that a liberating thing to know?!

Workshops - in the beginning ...
Quills on the Edge began creatively as a not-for-profit writing collective for marginalized youth in Toronto in the late 90's. It grew, it evolved, and it eventually shaped itself into a Word Sanctuary by 2002, becoming a haven for writers, especially new writers. And too, for established writers seeking other forms of inspiration to access new ideas sitting dormant.
Quills on the Edge is also designed to work with youth and adults in transition - whose stories - are often the ones we need to hear most.
From Toronto to Australia and now Newfoundland, this shell remains protective and passionate about its desire to help writers find their own home. A safe place to dwell, learn, share, and hone a craft that goes beyond ... just words.
Stacy facilitates in St. John's, and has done so for: WANL, St. John’s Women’s Centre, The Newfoundland Writer's Guild, Women’s Works Festival, and the Neuropsychiatric Patients' Association of Newfoundland Labrador.
